The Future of Fashion is at COP26

The 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference, commonly known as COP26, was organized for the third time with the participation of 197 countries in Glasgow, Scotland dated from 31 October to 12 November 2021. The country leaders, scientists, and professionals from different sectors met regarding global warming and greenhouse gas emissions at the 3rd United Nations Climate Change Conference, which was held after the entry into force of the Paris Agreement. Stella McCartney represented the fashion industry with a traveling exhibition under the title "The Climate Crisis and the Future of Fashion: An Innovation Conversation with Stella McCartney" at COP26, which was held to use the natural resources more efficiently in the future.

Investments, positive approaches and solutions to the use of natural resources, and government incentives were among the prominent topics. In addition, the exhibition brought the sustainability and future perspective of textile to the global platform in different subjects from vegan raw materials used in textile products to the unlimited possibilities of innovation at the forefront.

Natural Dyeing & Less Wastewater Load

We, at Özen Mensucat, invest in natural dyeing systems that reduce the wastewater load by supporting environmentally friendly production. We reflect the colors of nature to our collections with natural dyeing technics.
