The agricultural sector, which provides raw materials to many sectors, is considered one of the largest greenhouse gas producers of total anthropogenic emissions. We would like to make content for this month's newsletter on cotton produced with sustainable studies and regenerative agriculture practices in the field of agriculture based on the fact that most of the natural fibers supply agriculture for the textile industry. WHAT IS REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE?

Regenerative agriculture is an agricultural system that captures and stores atmospheric CO2, increasing the diversity of life on the farm, and improving water and energy management. It is the most ideal farming method to create and improve soil fertility. This method also promotes wider economic, environmental, and social benefits, thus creating holistic solutions.

We can talk about higher and more stable yields, lower input costs, natural capital, and the development of the ecosystem, while agricultural resilience is created in farms managed with regenerative applications in a regenerative farming system.

Additionally, in this farm system, cotton production also becomes a natural part of the natural cycle. Therefore, the negative effects of the cotton production process are eliminated, and the growing process of the cotton plant gains an environmentally friendly value.
